“From my Zoom interviews with Tammie and Aneill, to day one in the Yarmouth office, I have felt at home at AA Munro,” Jennifer said.

We’re thrilled to welcome Jennifer Mullen to our team of brokers in Yarmouth. She’s just started with us in customer service, and she’s ready to dive in and learn all she can about insurance.

Jen studied office admin at NSCC and graduated with honours. She found a job she loved working at a Ford dealership, which helped her realize her love of helping people.

 After 4 years at Ford, she tried her hand in entrepreneurship with her own cleaning business—while successful, it brought on back issues. She ultimately decided to to venture into something she could see herself doing for 20 or 30 more years.

“A friend of mine who works for another insurance company was always saying how rewarding it is,” Jen mentioned. She’d missed the interactive part of her daily work when she was self-employed. “It seemed like the perfect fit.”

And so far, it has been. The longevity of the industry combined with Jen’s repertoire of personal skills has made for an exciting new career. “Interacting with clients is my favourite part, other than being able to assist people in their time of need. Coming out of this part of the pandemic with a lovely new job feels like a good omen.”
