We’ve had holiday parties at White Point and in Antigonish so far this year, with two more coming up on the weekend in Port Hawkesbury and Sydney. There’s festive cheer around the offices too. Georgie and Janice in Pictou showed me the tree that they’ve decorated. It has home and auto ornaments, and a commercial tractor ornament too. There are AA Munro lanyards serving as garland along with pencils for icicles. There’s even a branded toque standing in for an angel or a star. “We thought about putting a smoke detector on the top,” Georgie said, “but we went with a toque because we couldn’t quite get it hooked on right!”

Before they set up their tree in the office this week, it was part of the Community Christmas Trees exhibit in the former Stedman’s building in Pictou. Businesses from around town were invited to participate. All the trees were on display together for about three weeks, from the weekend of the Decoste Christmas Fair until the weekend of the official Christmas Tree Lighting.

Do you have any nice seasonal photos from your office you’d like to share?
