We’re excited to be back at the Nova Scotia Spring Ideal Home Show this year! Folks from our Lower Sackville and Dartmouth Crossing offices will be at the Halifax Exhibition Centre throughout the weekend.

As insurance brokers, we spend a lot of time thinking about homes. We know about all the time and care that goes into building or renovating. And we know about all the memories with friends and family that a home holds within its walls. There’s the kitchen table where you first fed your kids. The well-loved couch in the basement that used to live in the family room. The box of photo albums in the bedroom drawer. Your collection of crystal gathered over the years.

Our job is to get to know you and your home so we can provide protection and peace of mind. The better we’re able to understand your family’s assets and your home’s construction, the better we can match you with insurance coverage. Especially when it comes to a large investment like a home, getting insurance isn’t simply about finding the cheapest price. The price of insurance has a lot of variables. And while saving money is definitely a high priority, what you really want is the right price—the price that reflects the legitimate risks and costs of replacing your home.

Part of doing our job means staying up to date with some of the best practices for building and renovating. Events like the Nova Scotia Spring Ideal Home Show are a fun way for us to check in on home vendors and contractors around Halifax. And since we’re kind of a chatty bunch, it’s also a nice chance to get out in the community and meet people. See you there this year or in the future!
