Fire Hall Photo Contest
In many communities, firefighters are still volunteers. They train and risk their lives and must fundraise for a lot of their gear. To help support their efforts, we created Nova Scotia’s annual Fire Hall Photo Contest.

Mary Gillis recently celebrated 45 years at AA Munro. She was supposed to fill in for Gerry MacFadygen's 2 week vacation, but she's been here ever since!
Camp Geddie
If you drive along the Shore Road in Merigomish, you’ll see a humble sign for Camp Geddie. The Camp’s wood-shingled buildings overlook the warm waters of the Northumberland Strait. Kids have been gathering here to swim, hike, canoe and create community since 1946.
A New World Record
Barb, Debbie and Shannon joined hundreds of local washer toss teams this year at Tide Fest, a homecoming type weekend for Lantz, Elmsdale, Enfield and the surrounding area.
Affiliative
Affiliative behaviour can sometimes seem difficult in the busy, stressful work world. But we find that, in the long run, it’s one of the things that really makes the work worth doing.
Club 500 Draw
Friday is a good day to win some money in Heatherton. The Heatherton Development Cultural and Wellness Association is giving away prizes ranging from $200 to $3,000. There are only five hundred tickets available.
Achievement
We’ve talked about culture at AA Munro for many years. One of the pillars of our ideal culture is Achievement, fulfilled through setting goals and reaching for them.
